Shabana Speaks Her Mind on The ADHM Row!

Shabana Azmi, took to Twitter for expressing her disappointment over the “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” release’s new improvement. She was seen slamming Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis for ‘brokering the deal’ between the makers of “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” and Thackeray, and not paying heed to Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s assurance of a safe release for the film.

Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” is all set to release on scheduled on October 28. The film was under threat by the Maharashtr Navnirman Sena, for featuring Fawad Khan who is from Pakistan. Raj Thackeray’s political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena promised to vandalise theaters and take matters into their own hands if the film was released.

But it seems like the party finally calmed down after Karan Johar with the Producers Guild President, Mukesh Bhatt met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his residence along with Thackeray and the producers of the film.

The end result of the meeting was surely in favour of the release of the movie but on conditions set by the parties. The party demanded that a mention paying tribute to the martyrs of the attacks in Uri has to be shown at the start of the film, and that any producer casting a Pakistani actor in the film should pay Rs. 5 crores to the Army Welfare Fund.

Several Bollywood celebrities are terming this demand as ‘extortion.’ This demand to pay 5 crores has not gone down well with Sahbana Azmi and below given are her tweets where she is seen criticizing the unreasonable demand.
