Yogi Adityanath swore as the CM of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. After this, there have been various speculations about how the Muslims are going to suffer in the State because of this Hindutva hardliner. Especially the UP media have left no stone unturned to project him as a Muslim hater. But these attempts have gone in vain after the Muslims of Gorakhpur, UP have taken to social media and a few media houses to express their opinion.
One such small example is the posters which the Muslim supporters designed of Yogi Adityanath that show him as Lord Ram and UP ka Baadshah.

Mohammed Kaleem Farooqui, a trader in Gorakhpur said “We welcome the move to make Yogi CM of UP. It seems now that some good change will come to Gorakhpur and the State as a whole. The government is not the government of a particular person. We all have elected the government and feel it will ensure the State’s development.” A garment merchant, Syed Ahmed said: “This is something we wanted from our heart. Now wherever we go, we will feel proud because we belong to CM’s city.”
Another important person who spoke fondly about Adityanath was Man Mohammad. This 30 year old works at the temple’s ‘gaushala’ run by Yogi Adityanath. He said “I have spent my childhood at the temple and it is like my home. I will continue working here for the rest of my life as Yogiji has given a lot of respect and love to me. Yogiji likes my dedication towards the service of cows, including Nandini, his favorite one. Yogiji doesn’t take his breakfast till he himself feeds the cows.”
He also added, “Though he (Yogi) has the image of a Hindutva hardliner but when it comes to personal bonding, he stands for everyone, irrespective of religious identity.” Mohammad further said that Adityanath was paying for his father’s treatment.
The mouth shutting response to the hater of Yogi and his Kindness towards Muslims came from A Nuclear Scientist Tanvir Aslam. Tanvir is a neighbor of Yogi Adityanath and praised Yogi Adityanath on Twitter.

While these few examples can be taken into consideration, but only time will tell what Yogi Adityanath will prove to be for UP and the Muslims.
