Gali Janardhan Reddy, a former Karnataka minister in the B.S. Yeddyurappa government, has made a special video as an invitation for his daughter Bramhin’s wedding. This video is one of a kind and features the bride, groom, and the minister’s family.
The invite is unique as it comes in a box, which opens to reveal an LCD screen.
A text reads “Bramhani Weds Rajeev Reddy”, and the screen begins to play the video in which Reddy, his wife, and son are seen singing ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ (The guest is like God).
The bride and groom are then introduced; with a special grand entry where they are see looking at each other in awe in typical Bollywood style.
The bride is seen swirling her lehenga as she runs in slow motion. And when her brother asks her about the groom, she takes his name blushing. The groom enters the video with white stallions in the background.
The video ends with a close-up of the family (still singing) and the date and venue of the wedding.
Gali Janardhan Reddy and his older brother G. Karunakara Reddy were ministers in the BJP government headed by B.S. Yeddyurappa till July 2011, after which Reddy was arrested by the CBI. He spent three years in jail and is currently out on bail.
