In Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam region, 20 people suffered serious injuries due to a major accident.
On the 31st of May, Tuesday, an auto with 16 people overturned on Ghat Road, when they were coming home from a wedding reception. Getting into the details, of the injured people, six sustained serious injuries and were shifted to Srikakulam RIMS for treatment. Furthermore, the six critically injured are said to be children. In addition, other injured people are undergoing treatment at a local regional hospital.
Notably, the injured people are residents of Banapuram village in Meliaputti Mandal and were traveling in an auto when it collided with a two-wheeler. Amongst the 20 injured people, 16 were those traveling in the auto and four people were in the car, which collided.
The Srikakulam Police rushed to the spot and registered an accident case. They launched an investigation into the accident.
