N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) celebrated the Telugu New Year, Ugadi, at his residence in Undavalli, Mangalagiri, Guntur district, AP.

Mr. Naidu, along with Bhuvaneswari, his wife, Devaansh, his grandson, and other leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) performed a puja on the auspicious day.

Kasibhotla Naga Venkata Parvatheeswara Sarma, a renowned priest of Andhra Pradesh, performed the rituals and the Ganapati puja for the victory of the TDP.

The priest also blessed Chandrababu Naidu for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

After the puja, the TDP is also scheduled to announce the Party manifesto for the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

On the 6th of April, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) also released its manifesto for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in AP.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively. The Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting in Andhra Pradesh are the YSRCP, the TDP and the JanaSena Party.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
