In Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati region, an incident of murder was reported by the District Police.
On the 12th of September, Monday, the Tirupati Police confirmed an incident happened in Kakuvaripalem village of Chillakuru Mandal, Tirupati. As per the police, Kinyapalli Balaji killed his brother Pratap over an alleged extramarital affair with his wife. Notably, Balaji and Pratap are brothers and were living separately with their families after marriage. However, 10 months ago, Pratap’s wife died while delivering her baby, following which Balaji asked his brother Pratap to move in with him.
Since moving in with Balaji, Pratap was allegedly having an affair with his brother’s wife, which Balaji got to know about on the night of the 11th of September. In anger, Balaji attacked Pratap with a stick and beat his brother to death.
Pratab, the victim died on spot due to a severe head injury.
Furthermore, Srinivasulu Reddy, the Guduru Rural Circle Inspector and Gopal Rao, the Sub Inspector registered a case against Balaji, after locals complained. In addition, the body of the victim has been shifted to the Guduru Area Hospital for postmortem.
The investigation into the matter is underway.
