On the 14th of July, the Andhra Pradesh Health department confirmed 1,916 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
With the new cases, the total reached to 33,019 cases till date.
Meanwhile, the number of deceased with 43 new cases reached a total of 408 in the past 24 hours.
With these updates, Andhra Pradesh has a total of 15,144 active cases 17,467 recovered/discharged cases and 408 deceased.
Of the total 1,916 cases, 146 were from Guntur, Kurnool (169,) Anantapur (185,) Krishna (129,) East Godavari (160,) Chittoor (238,) Kadapa (112,) West Godavari (199,) Visakhapatnam (28,) Nellore (165,) Prakasam (32,) Srikakulam (215) and Vizianagaram (130.)
The remaining 8 cases are from different states.
In addition, the mortality rate of COVID-19 in Andhra Pradesh is 1.24% , the average growth rate of the infection is 8% and the recovery rate is 52.90%.
Till the 13th of July, Andhra Pradesh conducted a total of 11,95,766 tests for the Novel Coronavirus. In the last 24 hours, the State conducted a total of 22,898 sample tests.
The total population of the State as per 2019 data is 5,22,21,000.
