In the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, Santosh Kumar, a 20-year-old, committed suicide, on the 28th of April, Thursday.
The tragic incident happened due to online games, as Santosh’s father allegedly had an argument with Santosh and was agitated by the same, the 20-year-old youth took the drastic step. He was reprimanded for dropping out of school and living a life of playing online games. Offended by this, Santosh drank pesticide. His family rushed him to a nearby hospital, where his situation was worsened and Santosh was pronounced dead.
The Putnam SI Sagar registered a case and an investigation is underway.
Notably, Santosh Kumar was a dropout of Degree College second year, as he got addicted to playing online games.
