Actor Nara Rohit, on the 3rd of April, announced, he will campaign for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) ahead of the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh (AP.)
Nara Rohit began his campaign from the 3rd of April and addressed public rallies on behalf of the TDP in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources, Rohit began his rallies at 2:00 P.M., and is expected to cover Kalavalapalli, Ramachandrapuram, Brahmanagudem and other villages in the mandal.
Nara Rohit was accompanied by Vangalapudi Anitha, a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the TDP, and other Party leaders for the campaign.
Recently, political leaders from across India came to extend their support and campaign for Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the President of the TDP.
The TDP is expected to continue campaigning for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh till the 9th of April.
The Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held on the 11th of April. The State will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively.
The major parties contesting the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are the TDP, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and the JanaSena Party.
The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
