The JanaSena Party, on the 3rd of April, released its manifesto for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, in alliance with the Left democratic parties and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) released the manifesto consisting of 96 promises.

Some of the major promises listed in the manifesto are laptops for 11th and 12th standard students, health insurance of Rs. 10 lakh for every family in AP, free education and free gas cylinders.

According to the manifesto, the Party will also give Rs. 5,000 as pension to farmers, fishermen and artisans, who are above 60 years of age.

The Party manifesto promised a reservation of 33 % for women and a deposit of Rs. 2,500 to 3,500 in the bank accounts of housewives for ration, under the Public Distribution System (PDS.)

The Party assured the growth and development of all three regions of Andhra Pradesh, which are Rayalaseema, North Coastal Andhra and South Coastal Andhra.

The JanaSena Party is the first Party to release its manifesto for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held on the 11th of April. The State will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively.

The major parties contesting the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are the TDP, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and the JanaSena Party.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
