On the 23rd of March, Wednesday, the suspension of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders continued in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget Session 2022-2023.

On Wednesday, during the question hour, the TDP Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) again disturbed the proceedings and chanted slogans.  When the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) MLA Mr. Vidudala Rajani was about to speak, the TDP members created a ruckus over the illicit liquor in Andhra Pradesh.

Misbehavior of the TDP leaders during the Assembly session outraged the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram.  He said, “It is not right to act like this in the House.” Furthermore, he advised the MLAs not to go in the wrong direction and sit in their seats.

However, despite repeated warnings of the Speaker, the TDP MLAs continued, following which, Mr. Tammineni Sitaram suspended five TDP MLAs.

Meanwhile, the YSRCP MLAs and ministers slammed the TDP members for doing Bhajans in the house and disturbing the proceedings.

It is to be noted, on the 22nd of March, Tuesday, the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker suspended four MLAs of the TDP, for creating chaos.  The same behavior continued on the next day, the 23rd of March, following which five more MLAs; were suspended.

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget Session, which started from the 7th of March, would conclude on the 25th of March.
