AP Assembly Speaker Suspends Chandrababu Naidu And 12 TDP MLAs From Today’s Session

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly speaker Tammineni Sitaram suspended a few Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs.) 

On the 30th of November, the first day of the Andhra Pradesh Winter Assembly session, the TDP leaders interrupted the ongoing proceedings and even walked out of the session. After repeated callscall, the leaders did not come back, disturbing the ongoing sessions.

In regard to this behavior of the TDP leaders, the Assembly Speaker suspended 13 TDP MLAs. N. Chandrababu Naidu, the National President of the TDP and 12 TDP MLAs were suspended for a day from the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

The decision was also based on a request of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Minister Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani.)

On the 30th of November, Mr. Nani moved a motion for the suspension of the 13 TDP MLAs.

Mr. Nani said, “He resorts to rowdyism and he himself squats before the podium as if injustice was done to him. It will not do. We will go ahead with our speech, please give permission.”

The suspended TDP MLAs are:

Chandrababu Naidu, Atchennaidu, Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, Ramanaidu, Eluru Sambashiva Rao, Bhavani, Gadde Rammohan, Jogeshwarao, Satyaprasad, Mantena Ramaraju, Adireddy Bhavani, Payyavala Keshav and Bendalam Ashok.
