The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet is all set to meet on the 7th of April, Thursday. The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Cabinet ministers would discuss various issues of the State, including the Cabinet reshuffle.
Mr. Sameer Sharma, the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh, informed the top officials of the Andhra Pradesh departments regarding the change of timings of the Cabinet meeting. Initially, the meeting was scheduled for 11:00 A.M., on the 7th of April, which has now been rescheduled to the afternoon.
The major reason behind the shifting of timing is because of the event, where village volunteers would be felicitated for their efforts in the formation of the new 13 districts. The event is scheduled to be held on the 7th of April, from the previous schedule of the 6th of April at Narasaraopet.
It is to be noted, that after the recent official launch of the new districts on the 4th of April, this would be the first time that the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led Government is conducting a Cabinet meeting. During this Cabinet meeting, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would unveil the new Cabinet ministers, after a reshuffle. Furthermore, if sources are to be believed, after the Cabinet meeting, the left out ministers in the reshuffling would be asked to resign and submit their resignations to the Governor of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Biswabhushan Harichandan, on the 8th of April.
Later, after the approval of the Governor, the newly organized Cabinet Ministry would take oath on the 11th of April, at 11:31 A.M., at the Secretariat building complex in Velagapudi.
