The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting, scheduled on the morning of the 11th of June, is underway with major issues on table.
The State Cabinet ministers present to attend the meeting would discuss several issues in the State including COVID-19 situation, bills, welfare schemes and new developments.
The meeting would discuss the situation of the State due to the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19, precautionary measures and other issues.
The meeting started today morning at the video conference hall of the Tadepalli camp office with social distancing arrangements.
In addition, the meeting would discuss a few welfare schemes, Assembly budget sessions, bills to be introduced and other decisions.
The cabinet is likely to approve draft amendments to the Goods Service Tax (GST) Act, Higher Education Regulation and Supervisory Commission Acts.
Decisions regarding the Special Enforcement Bureau to prevent illicit liquor and sand trafficking would also be discussed in today’s meeting.
To maintain a pollution free environment, the Pollution Prevention and Environmental Protection Framework Bill would also be discussed.
Appointment of doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff would also be a part of today’s meeting.
