Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu, the National President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is scheduled to visit the flood-affected areas of Godavari continues, on the 22nd of July.
On Friday, the 22nd of July, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu would visit Konaseema district and West Godavari district. During the visit, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu would go to the houses of the victims in the flood-affected areas and inquire about their problems.
Furthermore, Mr. Nara Chandrababu started his tour by visiting flood victims in Doddipatla, Abbirajupalem, Gangadhara Palem and Lakshmipuram areas of Yalamanchili mandals. In the afternoon, the TDP Preident accompanied by other TDP leaders would visit the Godavari embankment at Ponnappalli, Narasapuram mandal and go to Rajamahendravaram Airport by road at 4:00 P.M., in the evening. He would later, reach Hyderabad at 9:00 P.M., in the evening of the 22nd of July.
The tour to flood affected regions by Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu started on the 21st of July. During his tour, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu took a dig at the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The TDP President Mr. Naidu said, Chief Minister was wandering in the wind by leaving the people in the mud. Mr. Nara Chandrababu said that the Telangana Government is giving Rs. 10,000 to the victims, but the AP government is giving Rs. 2,000. He visited the victims and inquired about the relief measures of the Andhra Pradesh Government.
Meanwhile, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu escaped from an accident as the leaders travelling on the boat overturned leaving all of them to fall into the water.
There were 15 people including Chandrababu in the launch at the time of the accident.
Former minister Devineni Uma, several former MLAs, and police officers were all drenched in water. The fishermen, who immediately responded to the accident, brought the TDP leaders safely to the shore from the river.
