K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the CM of Andhra Pradesh, condoled Chakravarthula Raghavachari’s demise.
Chakravarthula Raghavachari was a senior journalist and the ex editor of Visalaandhra, a Telugu daily newspaper in Andhra Pradesh.
Chakravarthula Raghavachari passed away during the early hours of the 28th of October in Hyderabad, Telangana. He was sick for a long time and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad.
KCR said Raghavachari was a dedicated journalist and always believed in value based journalism. KCR said his writings were an inspiration to many young people.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also expressed grief over the demise of Chakravarthula Raghavachari’s death and conveyed his condolences to Chakravarthula Raghavachari’s family.
Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) also expressed grief and said Raghavachari was a valuable man and dedicated his life to journalism. Naidu said Raghavachari was a social worker and a man of ideals.
Born in Warangal district, Chakravarthula Raghavachari became the Editor of Visalaandhra in 1972. He was the editor of the newspaper till 2005.
