Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, reviewed the Health Sector in the Telugu State, on the 27th of April, Wednesday.
The review meeting with the concerned health officials came after the recent controversial Tirupati ambulance incident of the RUIA Hospital. He strictly warned officials and said the incident which happened at the RUIA Government hospital should not be repeated in the State again.
During the review meeting, Mr. Jagan reacted strongly to the incident and directed that the complaint numbers be visible to everyone in the hospital premises. He said complaint numbers should appear at kiosks and advised victims to report any problems they may have.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister said with one or two incidents are bringing a bad name to the whole system. Authorities have been directed to prevent an incident like the one at Vijayawada Hospital from happening again. He said action had been taken against CI and SE for alleged negligence.
Meanwhile, concluding the meeting, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy suggested that the education, medicine, agriculture and police departments should work efficiently.
Home Minister Mr. Taneti Vanitha, the Medical Health Minister Mr. Vidadala Rajani, the State Chief Secretary Mr. Sameer Sharma, the Director General of Police (DGP) Mr. K.V. Rajendranath Reddy, the Chief Minister’s Special CS Mr. K.S. Jawahar Reddy, the Chief Secretary for Health Mr. Muddada Ravichandra, Home Chief Secretary Mr. Kumar Vishwajeet and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
