On the 3rd of February, the Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh announced the dates for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in the State.
Mr. Adimulapu Suresh, the A.P., Education Minister addressed the media and said the SSC exams would begin from the 7th of June till the 16th of June.
Schedule of the examination:
First Language
June 8 (Tuesday): Second Language
June 9 (Wednesday): English
June 10 (Thursday): Mathematics
June 11 (Friday): Physical Science
June 12 (Saturday): Biological Sciences
June 14 (Monday): Social Studies
June 15 (Tuesday): First Language Paper 2
OSS Main Language (Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian)
June 16 (Wednesday) SSC Vocational Course (Theory)
The Intermediate examinations would be held from the 5th May to the 23rd of May.
In addition, the number of papers has reduced to seven from the previous 11 papers. Each paper would be evaluated for 100 marks.
However, students have to write two papers for Science, one is Physical Science and another is Biological Science.
The 15th of May would be the last working day for students of first to ninth standards and the new academic year (2021-2022) for schools would start from the 21st of July.
