On the 18th of June, the Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Government, announced an ex gratia of Rs. 5 lakhs to the victims of Jaggayyapet accident.
On the 17th of June, 12 people died and 14 were left injured after a tragic incident occurred in Krishna district.
A bunch of 30 people were travelling to Lord Venkateshwar temple in Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) They were travelling from Khammam district when a lorry loaded with cement rammed into the tractor in which those 30 people were travelling through.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) announced the amount.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) said Rs. 5 lakhs would be given to the families of the deceased.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government also announced an ex gratia of Rs. 2 lakhs for the victims’ families.
