Mr. Jagan said the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) would provide incentives of Rs. 5,000 to all listed and recognised mosques, churches and temples in the State.

The financial assistance would be provided to unlisted mosques, churches and temples also.  The amount would be given to the religious service renderers like the archakas, imams, and pastors

Besides announcing financial assistance, Jagan Mohan Reddy asked Muslim religious leaders to urge the Muslim community to offer prayers at home during Ramadan.  Mr. Reddy said, “Usually during Ramzan, prayers are offered 5 times a day. Acts of charity are undertaken, as it’s considered a holy month. But the present circumstances are such that I have to make this request.”  He further added, “It is your responsibility to convey this to others. It’s a difficult thing to ask for, but it is inevitable.”
