AP Government Runs Special Buses For Stranded Citizens In Telangana

On the 14th of May, the Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Government announced to run special buses to bring back 13,000 stranded A.P., citizens from Hyderabad, Telangana.

However the movement would only be allowed, if people travelling by these buses agree to be in quarantine centres for 14 days, after reaching their native places in A.P.

The tickets for the special buses would be available on the Spandana web portal.

Approximately 8,000 people in Hyderabad and 5,000 in Rangareddy district have applied for the bus tickets and agreed to be in quarantine centres for 14 days.

Speaking about the routes of these buses, the A.P., Government would run buses from Garuda. Non AC buses from Miyapur-Bollaram cross roads, Kukatpally housing board and LB Nagar. All these buses would run non stop directly to their respective depots in AP with no halts anywhere. 

Meanwhile, till the 15th of May, Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana reported 2,262 and 1,414 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 infection, respectively.
