The Andhra Pradesh Government, on the 13th of December, issued an order with regards to the construction of a steel plant in Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh.
The steel plant is set to be constructed on 3,148.68 acres of land in M. Kambaladinne village of Mylavaram mandal in Kadapa, which falls under the Jammalamadugu revenue division in Andhra Pradesh.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government issued a notice after the land inspection.
Andhra Pradesh Steels Limited would be responsible for the construction of the steel plant in Kadapa.
The Revenue Secretary of Andhra Pradesh conducted a meeting with the district collector and directed him to start the work immediately.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is expected to lay the foundation for the steel plant and perform a bhoomi puja on the 27th of December.
