Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 3rd of August, celebrates his 85th birthday.
On the occasion of his birthday, Mr. Harichandan participated in various cultural and social activities in Andhra Pradesh.
Mukesh Kumar Meena, the Secretary of Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, confirmed the schedule of Mr. Harichandan.
Harichandan started his day with the blessings of the priests at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam. Later, he cut a cake at the Raj Bhavan with Dalit, physically challenged and orphaned students. He also gave sweets and clothes to the students.
After attending the event at the Raj Bhavan, Harichandan inaugurated a blood donation camp organised by the Red Cross Society at Loyola College. He also planted saplings on the college’s premises.
As Jagan Mohan Reddy was not present in the State, Kodali Venkateswara Rao and Velampalli Srinivas attended the celebrations at Raj Bhavan and greeted Governor Harichandan on Jagan’s behalf.
Apart from Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) members, non governmental organisations (NGOs) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members attended the event.
