The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress (YSRCP) Government in Andhra Pradesh started the distribution of the YSR Pension Kanuka, for September month.
The volunteers and ward secretaries started the distribution process, on the 1st of September, Thursday, after the approval of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. In this regard, for the pension, the YSRCP Government has released Rs. 1594.66 crores, benefiting 62.69 lakh pensioners, across Andhra Pradesh.
The door to door distribution service for the scheme started early in the morning of the 1st of September. The officials would identify beneficiaries using biometrics at the time of disbursement of pensions.
According to Mr. Budi Mutyala Naidu, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, by 7:30 A.M., 36.74% pensions, amounting to Rs. 585.58 crores, benefiting 23.07 lakh people received pension.
The distribution of YSR Pension Kanuka would continue till the last beneficiary received the amount.
