On the 24th of May, the Andhra Pradesh Police arrested B.C. Janardhan Reddy, a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)
According to sources, around 2:00 A.M., on Monday, the police arrested the former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Janardhan Reddy from his residence. Along with Janardhan Reddy, some of his followers were also arrested and were taken into custody in relation to the recent attack on the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Katasani Rami Reddy.
As per sources, followers of Janardhan Reddy allegedly attacked YSRCP MLA Katasani Reddy. However, the TDP MLA denied the allegations and said it to be the conspiracy of the ruling YSRCP Government. He also said the followers of Katasani Rami Reddy attacked him and his followers.
As of now, the TDP leader and 9 others are with Kurnool Police and are likely to be produced before Banaganapalli Court today.
