AP Ranks First In Implementing Lockdown And Curbing COVID-19 Infection Successfully

As per the survey of NDTV, a news agency, Andhra Pradesh ranks 1st in implementing the lockdown and curbing the spread of the Novel Coronavirus in the State.

According to the survey, the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government worked well to reduce the positive COVID-19 cases.

Perni Neni, the Transport Minister of A.P., on the 13th of April, took to Twitter and informed the citizens of Andhra Pradesh about the survey.  Mr. Neni said, “Andhra Pradesh has been ranked the most successful Lockdown state in India by @ndtv.  By obeying the strict measures laid out by the Govt., we are breaking the chain of #Covid19

The Andhra Pradesh Government is one of the governments which has 2 districts without any case of COVID-19 and is constant in number of cases since the past two days.  However, on the 13th of April, the State reported 12 new cases increasing the total number of cases of the Novel Coronavirus infection to 432 with 7 deaths.
