In Andhra Pradesh, the Srikakulam district has secured second place in the 2022 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination results.  

Notably, the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Secondary Education (APSBSE) released the SSC Class X results on the 6th of June, Monday.  The district which topped the list with a 78.30% pass percentage is Prakasam, followed by Srikakulam which recorded a 78.22% pass percentage.

According to sources, Srikakulam District Collector Srikesh B. Lathakar, Ms. M. Vijaya Suneetha, the Joint Collector,  lauded the efforts of district educational officer (DEO) Mr. G. Pagadalamma and district Samagra Siksha additional project coordinator (APC) Ms. Ronanki Jaya Prakash for continuously monitoring teachers and boosting the confidence of students. 

Furthermore, nearly 35,944 students appeared for the SSC examinations this year from Srikakulam, of them 17,577 are girls and 18,367 boys.  A total of 28,115 candidates qualified for the examinations which are reported as 78.22%.  Of the passed students,  4,194 are girls and 13,921 are boys. 

In addition, a total of 22,429 students secured first-class grades, 4,211 candidates achieved second class while 1,475 students secured third class grades in the 2022 Boards Examination.
