ByReddy Rajasekhar Reddy, a former member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) on the evening of the 28th of November, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi.
The operation seems to be effective in Andhra Pradesh, as another TDP member shifted his loyalties to the opposition, the BJP.
Recently, Adinarayana Reddy, a former member of the TDP joined the BJP and now, ByReddy Rajasekhar Reddy also joined the Party.
Mr. Reddy joined the BJP in the presence of J.P. Nadda, the Working President of the BJP, Ram Madhav, the General Secretary of the BJP and other Party leaders in Delhi.
Besides ByReddy Rajasekhar Reddy, his daughter Surabhi also joined the Saffron Party with him.
A few days back Rajasekhar Reddy announced to join the BJP and said, “ State development is possible with the BJP. Prime Minister Modi believes that Andhra Pradesh is in trouble after the partition.”
Rajasekhar Reddy criticised the TDP and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and said both the Telugu Parties are the reason behind the State’s partition. He said, after the YSRCP came into power in Andhra Pradesh, he is creating a war like situation over the Capital City and AP High Court.
The BJP leaders, workers and other officials attended the event organised in Delhi.
