Chandrababu Naidu Campaigns For TDP Ahead Of Municipal Elections

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu kickstarted campaign for the upcoming Municipal elections in Andhra Pradesh.

The State is preparing for a municipal elections, which would be a tough fight between the TDP and the opposition Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.) 

The TDP in its all  presence formulating a strategy to come to power in the Municipal elections. As part of that, TDP Chief  Chandrababu Naidu decided to take part in the election campaign.  Chandrababu would be participating in the Municipal election campaign from the 4th of March till the 8th of March. 

Chandrababu has decided to participate in the election campaign for 5 days in the wake of the candidates’ campaign.

Chandrababu will campaign in Kurnool, Chittoor, Visakhapatnam, Krishna and Guntur districts.

The TDP has recently released its manifesto regarding the municipal elections.

Meanwhile, the SEC has issued a statement to conduct polling for corporations and municipalities in the state.

On the 15th of February, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar announced elections for 12 corporations and 75 municipalities in Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporation.

According to the schedule, the nomination started immediately and withdrawal of nominations would be from 3:00 P.M., from the 2nd of March to the 3rd of March.

The final list of candidates would be released after 3:00 P.M., on the 3rd of March.

Eligible citizens could vote from 7:00 A.M., till 5:00 P.M, on the 10th of March.

This time, the polling would be done twice, while the first time voters could vote on the 10th of March, but due to any reasons, if polling is disturbed, re polling would be held on the 13th of March.

The results of the Civic Polls would be announced on the evening of the 14th of March.
