Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) welcomed the relief package of Rs. 20 lakh crores by the Central Government.
On the 12th of May, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the package to help small companies and businesses to get rid of the economic crisis due to the Novel Coronavirus.
While Mr. Naidu praised the Central Government, he criticised the Andhra Pradesh Government stating that it had destroyed all the systems.
Chandrababu Naidu expressed sorrow to see the situation of poor in Andhra Pradesh due to the current scenario and also showed disappointment over increased electricity bills.
Mr. Naidu also asserted that the reports over the Novel Coronavirus cases might increase in June and July.
He also said the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) are not keeping people in the quarantine centres of the State in the first stage of COVID-19.
In addition, he also criticised the YSRCP Government for opening liquor shops in the State amid the ongoing lockdown.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh reported a total of 2,137 cases of the Novel Coronavirus with 47 fatalities till the 13th of May.
