Ms. Revathi Viswanath, a devotee from Mylapore, Chennai, made a huge donation of Rs. 9.20 crores to the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple.
The donation made recently on the 15th of February, Tuesday, was in the memory of her late sister Dr. Parvati. Of the total donation, 3.20 crore were in cash and the remaining was properties, 2 hours worth Rs. 6 crores.
The entire donation was made by Revathi Vishwanath to YV Subba Reddy in the Ranganayakula Mandapam of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Temple.
According to sources, Ms. Revathi Vishwanath has donated Rs. 3.20 crore for a children’s hospital and Rs. 6 crore property was handed over to the chairman.
Meanwhile, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has made Udaya asthma services available and decided to accept donations for the construction of a children’s super-specialty hospital. The tickets were made available online from Wednesday morning, the 16th of February.
In addition, the TTD also made a donation window available for the booking of Udaya asthma service tickets. The amount received by the sale of tickets will be used for the construction of the children’s hospital in Tirumala.
The TTD has also advised people to make donations through the website tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in.
