On the 13th of May, Friday afternoon, the Chittoor Court reviewed a petition filed by the Andhra Pradesh Government, demanding revocation of the granted bail of Mr. Narayana.

Notably, The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) led Andhra Pradesh Government filed a petition against the approval of bail for the former State Minister and leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) Mr. Narayana.

The Additional Advocate General (AG) Mr. Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy filed the petition on behalf of the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Government.  In the filed petition, the State Government sought revocation of the bail on the grounds that the accused has not filed any bail plea and is the main accused in leaking the class 10th exam papers.  The Advocate General said, “Bail was granted without filing a bail petition.  Everyone is equal before the law. ”

After reviewing the petition, the Chittoor Court issued a notice to Mr. Narayana over the bail, which was granted to him on the 11th of May, Wednesday. With this, the Chittoor Court adjourned the matter to the 24th of May.

Meanwhile, Mr. Narayana was arrested on the 10th of May, in class X exam paper leak case and was under the police custody.  However, on the 12th of May, a single bench judge of the Chittoor Court granted bail to the TDP leader.  The fourth additional judge of the Chittoor Court granted bail to the TDP leader, Mr. Narayana in the paper leak case.

The case has been registered with the State Police and an investigation in the matter is underway.
