The Chief Justice of India (CJI) Mr. N.V. Ramana visited Tirupati on Friday, the 19th of August.
During the visit to Tirupati and launched Gandhiji’s autobiography ‘Satya Sodhana‘ book. While the inauguration, Mr. N.V. Ramana expressed happiness that Gandhiji’s life message is being made available and opined that Satya Shodhana is a book that everyone should read.
Furthermore, CJI N.V. Ramana praised Mahatma Gandhi’s services on this occasion and said that Gandhiji fought with the weapon of non-violence and it was Gandhiji who taught us how to live life honestly. The CJI Mr. N.V. Ramana unveiled a statue of the late Gutta Muniratnam, organizer of RAS, Padma Shri awardee.
Prior to the launch of the book, CJI N.V. Ramana visited Tirumala along with his family. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman Mr. Y.V. Subba Reddy extended a warm welcome at the temple’s entrance and made arrangements for darshan.
After darshan, the TTD Chairman Mr. Y.V. Subba Reddy honored the CJI Mr. N.V. Ramana and his family with silk robes of Swami and presented a portrait of the deity at Ranganayak Mandapam.
