Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Telangana Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Bharat Bhavan, the sprawling party office of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS.) The new 15 storeyed building office is situated on an expansive 11-acre land in Kokapet.
The new BRS office would be the biggest political party office in India, confirmed sources.
Named the Bharat Bhavan Center for Excellence and Human Resource Development (HRD,) the new office complex aims to serve as a center of knowledge, training, and research.
The facility would feature dedicated training classes, a state-of-the-art research center, and a digital library offering newspapers in multiple languages. Party leaders will have access to comprehensive information on various topics from different states, fostering a culture of informed decision making and expertise within the party.
Notably, Bharat Bhavan would also play a pivotal role in training party activists hailing from different parts of the country, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively contribute to the BRS’s vision and objectives.
Upon completion, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao would oversee party activities from the Bharat Bhavan, while national affairs would be managed from the BRS national office in Delhi during visits to the capital.
Notably, the BRS is making efforts to establish itself as a strong party in India and as a national party, against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress.
Recently, the BRS inaugurated its office in Delhi’s Vasant Vihar, where the party would be working and discussing national affairs. The development of the BRS, came ahead of the Telangana State Assembly elections, scheduled to be held in December 2023.
