Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, took a dig at the Prime Minister of India.

On the 11th of April, Tuesday, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, “Centre which termed the iron ore in Biladila mine as substandard, has allocated the same to Biladila Iron Ore Private Limited, a subsidiary company of Adani Group.”

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader KTR highlighted the recent Adani Group V/S Hindeburg report and the involvement of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) into it.  He said that ‘Adani and Pradhani’ are destroying the wealth of two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Recalling the request of the Telangana Government, KTR said, the K. Chandrashekar Rao led BRS Government asked to allocate the Biladila mines to the state.  However, the Central Government rejected the same, which was later in 2018 allocated to the Adani Groups’ subsidiary company, the Biladial Iron Ore Private Limited.

Furthermore, the BRS Minister also said, the Central Government is pushing the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant into losses, so that they could privatize it like other mines in India.

Addressing the press conference at the Pragati Bhavan, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao dared the opposition to file a defamation case against the remarks he made during the interview.
