In Andhra Pradesh, Ms. M. Sucharitha, the former Home Minister of the State, met with Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting with the Chief Minister came at a time when there were rumors that Ms. Sucharitha resigned from the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) post. However, Ms. M. Sucharitha denied the rumours and said, she was not resigning as the MLA post and the rumours were untrue, false propaganda of the opposition. In regard to this, Ms. Mekathoti Sucharita met with the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister at the YSRCP Camp Office in Tadepalli.
After the meeting, which went for an hour, Ms. Sucharitha addressed the media and said that she could not come out of the house for a few days due to health issues. She said, “I gave a thanksgiving letter to the Chief Minister for giving me an opportunity to work as a Home minister in his cabinet. The letter was mistaken as my resignation letter to the MLA post.” It is to be noted, this time in the Cabinet reshuffle, Ms. M. Sucharitha did not get any portfolio.
Furthermore, she said she accepted the decision of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for the Cabinet reshuffle and said, would work towards the victory in the coming elections. Sucharita has made it clear that she would stand by YS Jagan as long as she is in active politics.
