In the video, the ambient temperature was around 40 degrees but because the seat of the scooter is black-colored, it captures and retains heat. The food blogger demonstrated the same by putting dosa batter on the seat of the Vespa.
It did take some time to cook but eventually solidified. This is not the crispiest dosa that you will see or eat but it sure demonstrates how hot the seats can become when parked right under the sun.
The shared video received a mixed response from netizens, while many laughed over the experiment, others called it impossible.
Furthermore, a scientist of the Hyderabad Meteorological department Ms. Sravani called the shared video to be impossible and said, to cook food under the sun, the temperature should be over 47 degrees, not 40 degrees celsius.
