Mr.Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) reacted to the Konaseema incident in Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)
The Konaseema violence which broke out after the Andhra Pradesh Government announced to change the name of the newly formed district to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, created a ruckus and political tension in the Telugu State. Taking a dig at the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Party and blamed the party leaders behind the violence in Konaseema.
The statement of Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu came during a meeting with activists in the Chilakaluripeta constituency of Palanadu district. He was on his way to Ongole, where the TDP Annual Event Mahanadu is scheduled to be held.
Highlighting the irresponsible attitude of the Andhra Pradesh Police, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu said the minister’s house was attacked in the presence of the police blaming others for their mistakes. The TDP National President also criticized the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister for ruining the State with his poor governance.
Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu said Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy cannot run the government and is preparing for the early elections in the State. He said, “Jagan can no longer rule the state so the incompetent Chief Minister is planning for a by-election.”
Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu also blamed the YSRCP for targeting the TDP leaders and creating hurdles for the 2022 Mahanadu event. The two-day annual conclave is set to begin on the 28th of May. In regard to this, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu launched a roadshow in Vijayawada, asking TDP cadres to make the event a huge success.
