Mr. Pawan Kalyan, the Chief of the JanaSena Party, expressed anguish over the recent Eluru Pharma fire incident. On the 14th of April, Thursday, Mr. Pawan Kalyan said, “The fire accident at the porous chemical industry in Akkireddygudem, Musunur zone of Eluru district is tragic.”
The JanaSena President asked for compensation of Rs. 1 crore for the victims of the Eluru Fire incident, which occurred at midnight on the 14th of April.
Pawan Kalyan demanded Government support for the six workers, who died in the incident and expressed sympathy to the 18 severely injured victims, who are undergoing treatment at the state run hospitals in Vijayawada.
Meanwhile, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YRCP) Government announced an ex gratia for the victims. The Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led Government announced Rs. 25 lakh for deceased, Rs. 5 lakh for seriously injured and Rs. 2 lakh for people with minor injuries.
Besides, the JanaSena Chief, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Mr. Somu Veerraju also demanded that the YSRCP Government to support the families of fire accident victims and urged to take strong measures to prevent such accidents. Mr. Somu visited the Akkireddygudem accident victims who were being treated at the hospital and advised doctors to provide better treatment to the victims.
