Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress (INC) entered Andhra Pradesh and received a warm welcome from the workers in the State.
Notably, the INC’s Bharat Jodo Yatra completed its tour in Tamil Nadu and other southern regions and entered Andhra Pradesh borders on the 14th of October.
The Andhra Pradesh INC leaders and workers gave a grand welcome to Mr. Rahul Gandhi in Anantapur district. A huge crowd came to see Rahul Gandhi accompanied by other Congress leaders.
Today’s Bharta Jodo Yatra started at Rampura in the Chitradurga district of Karnataka at 7:00 A.M., and entered Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur district, at 10:00 A.M.
Andhra Pradesh Congress President Ms. Sailajanath, Mr. J.D. Seelam, the Former Union Minister, the Congress National Coordinator Mr. K. Raju, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary Mr. Rudra Raju, and the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Mr. Kisan Cell President Gurnath Rao were among those who welcomed Mr. Rahul Gandhi.
According to sources, the Bharath Jodo Yatra would continue in Andhra Pradesh for the next five days, till the 19th of October.
According to today’s schedule, Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the yatra would resume at 04:30 P.M., and stop at Obulapuram village of Anantapur district at 06:30 P.M.
Later, after today’s yatra, Mr. Rahul Gandhi would stay for the night near Halakundi Math in Bellary and would resume yatra, the next day, from the 15th of October.
