Sachivalayams also known as gram secretaries and ward secretaries for people in Andhra Pradesh would soon get a permanent building.
On the 11th of December the Andhra Pradesh Minister for Panchayat Raj Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy announced to construct permanent buildings for Sachivalayam.
The construction would begin in a phased manner soon.
Mr. Peddireddy said, irrespective of funds shortage, instructions were given to all the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) to finalise an action plan in this regard.
According to sources, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government assured that all the ongoing and proposed Sachivalayam buildings would be completed by March.
The Minister also took part in a series of programmes at Thimminayanipalli Village in Chowdepalli mandal, in the Punganur Assembly Constituency.
Mr. Pedireddy also laid foundation stones for several buildings pertaining to Rythu Bharosa Kendrams, Anganwadi centres and Sachivalayams in Chittoor.
He also inaugurated Transco power sub station at Chowdepalli.
The Member of Parliament (MP) N. Reddappa, the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) State representative Viswanathams, Public Relation officer Amarnath Reddy, Zila Parishad CEO Prabhakaer Reddy and others accompanied the Minister at the event.
