Subramanian Swamy To File Rs 100 Crores Lawsuit Suit Against News Channel For False Information About TTD

Subramanian Swamy, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader is said to have filed a petition against Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.) The petition against Chandrababu Naidu is due to his remarks on Lord Venkateshwar.

On the 10th of March, Mr.Subramanian Swamy addressed the media and said he would also file a civil and a criminal petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court (HC) against a Telugu news house for publishing wrong information about the Tirumala Tirupati temple. Recently a Telugu Daily published the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD,) is propagating Christianity. The comments not only hurt the religious sentiment of people but also spread rumors about the Y.S. Jagan Mohah Reddy rule and regime.

The BJP MP said he would file a Rs. 100 crores defamation suit against the media channel.

In addition, Mr. Subramanian also claimed massive irregularities during the TDP Government (2014-2019) and demanded an audit with the CAG for the last 5 years.

The BJP leader is likely to file the two petitions in the A.P. High Court later today.
