Mr. Nandamuri Balakrishna, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) addressed a press meet over the recent Nara Chandrababu and ruling Government’s issue.
On the 19th of November, Friday, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu reacted to remarks of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders and was left with tears. On the 19th of November, Friday, during the ongoing Assembly session, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders made remarks against Ms. Bhuvaneshwari, the wife of Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The statements, which were said to be a direct attack on the opposition, TDP, left Mr. Chandrababu Naidu in tears.
Later, he also addressed a media conference at the TDP office in Mangalagiri. During the press conference, Mr. Chandrababu said that he had never seen such developments in his life and found fault for bringing his family into the House. He said he never humiliated anyone in his 38 years as a political career. The opposition leader said that he would step into the assembly only after getting a mandate from the people.
Mr. Naidu expressed his grief over personal allegations about his wife in the House. He said he had suffered a lot of humiliation in the last two and a half years, since the YSRCP came into power. He further said the Assembly Speaker did not stop the YSRCP leaders, instead cut his mic which left Naidu in a distressed state to leave the House.
Mr. Chandrababu Naidu said he would not return back to the Assembly again until elected as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Responding to the incident at the A.P., Legislative Assembly, Mr. Balakrishna said the YSRCP leaders resorted to character assassination of his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari in the Legislative Assembly. He warned the YSRCP leaders for dragging women into the political debate.
On Saturday, Mr. Balakrishna addressed the media and said, “Assembly is meant for discussing public issues and not for assassinating characters of people.”
The press meet was attended by family members of Jr. N.T.R. and other TDP leaders.
