Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) criticised the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) during Mahanadu event, an annual conlcave of the TDP.
On the 27th of May, while addressing thousands of TDP cadres and leaders, Mr. Naidu said the ruling YSRCP Government harassed many TDP activists and workers during their rule.
Inaugurating the first day of the annual event, Mahanadu, Mr. Reddy criticised the rule of the YSRCP Government and pointed out their harassment on TDP workers.
Mr. Naidu said, “In all grounds, the YSRCP’s criminal leaders behaved like a terrorists. The YSRCP leaders and Government resorted to all kinds of threatening in the last (one) year. Physically and mentally harassed, financially created problems to TDP leaders and cadre across the State. Despite of all these harassments by the YSRCP Government, the cadre and leaders showed their determination and commitment towards the Party.”
He said, the TDP is working for the welfare of the State and people of Andhra Pradesh wih pride and a vision of development and growth in A.P.
Speaking about Amaravati, Chandrababu Naidu said, “We developed Amaravati as a brand and it attracted the world attention. The entire state hoped that the Amaravati would help in the development of the State. But, the present Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy gave a disastrous stroke to the Amaravati and pushed the State into problems. The farmers, who donated the lands for the Amaravati have been fighting against the Government even during the COVID-19. On the other hand, the government stopped construction of the Polavaram.”
Highlighting several cases registered against TDP cadres, Chandrababu Naidu said, the YSRCP Government harassed TDP cadres across the State and filed illegal cases against them.
The event is scheduled to end on the 28th of May.
