On the 8th of September, C.H. Malla Reddy, the Labour Minister of Telangana, donated an ambulance for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 in the State.

The ambulance was donated under an initiative Give A Smile, by K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)

Mr. Malla Reddy presented the COVID-19 testing ambulance after being inspired by Mr. Rao.

The event of the ambulance donation was a small affair due to the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

The Labour Minister presented the vehicle in the presence of Member of Parliament (MP) Ranjith Reddy and TRS Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency incharge Marri Rajashekhar Reddy.

In addition, Mr. Malla Reddy also presented the Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to 100 beneficiaries at a programme organised at Ghatkesar MLA camp officer.

Addressing on the occasion, the Minister said the TRS Government was according top priority to the welfare of the poor. Irrespective of the communities, many poor people were getting benefited through the financial assistance of Rs 1,00,116 under Kalyana Lakshmi programme.

The donation of the ambulances is a part of ‘gift a smile’ initiative taken by KTR on his birthday on the 24th of July.

Following Mr. Rama Rao’s announcement, several ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and senior leaders of the party also announced to donate ambulances.

With this, MLAs and leaders are going to provide 100 ambulances to 32 districts of the State.
