The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD,) on the 12th of November, decided to introduce 75 % reservation for TTD jobs.
The governing body of the TTD announced the reservation for positions up to the level of junior assistant.
The announcement was made during a TTD board meeting which was organised on the afternoon of the 12th of November.
Bhuman Karunakar Reddy, a special invitee of the TTD, proposed the 75 % reservation in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
After his proposal, all the board members unanimously approved the proposal and sent the same to the AP Government.
The Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP would review the proposal and approve or decline the same. If the YSRCP Government approves the proposal of providing 75 % reservation to local residents, the citizens of Tirupati would get a lot of job opportunities in the district.
