The Union Finance Minister Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Thursday, the 20th of October.
Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman was received by the Tiruamal Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board Chairman Mr. Y.V. Subba Reddy and the TTD Executive Officer (EO) Mr. A.V. Dharma Reddy. The TTD members received Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman on her arrival at Mahadwaram and later taken to the darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
After darshan the Union Finance Minister was offered Vedaseervachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam by vedic pundits followed by presentation of Theertha Prasadams, laminated photo of Srivaru.
Furthermore, the Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Mr. Rajendranath Reddy, Member of Parliament (MP) Dr. Gurumurthy, the former TTD Board member and BJP leader Bhanuprakash Reddy were also present.
After the darshan, Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman is likely to return to Delhi later in the evening of the 20th of October.
