Union Minister Amit Shah To Visit Tirupati Today, Will Attend Southern Zonal Council Meeting

On the 13th of November, Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, is scheduled to visit Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)  He would be on a three day visit to the Telugu State.

According to sources, Mr. Amit Shah is scheduled to reach Tirupati at 7:40 P.M.  He is going to stay at the Taj Hotel today and begin his Tirupati tour from Sunday, the 14th of November.  On Sunday morning, the Union Minister is going to visit Venkatachalam of Nellore district by helicopter.  There he would participate in several programmes organised at Akshara vidyalaya, Swarna Bharati trust, Muppavarapu foundation, Soma skill development centre and rural self empowerment training center.

Mr. Amit Shah is scheduled to return to Tirupati on the evening of the 14th of November.  The visit of Mr. Amit Shah has been organised in view of the Southern Council meeting, scheduled at 3:00 P.M., on the 14th of November.  The 29th Southern Zonal Council meeting will be held in Tirupati on the 14th of November. 

The meeting, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, will be attended by governors, lieutenant governors, chief ministers, chief secretaries, advisors and other senior officials from AP, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep islands. 

During The Southern Zonal Council meeting, the southern states and Union Territories (UTs) would be resolving their issues.  

After the Southern Council Meeting,  on Monday morning, the 15th of November, Mr. Amit Shah would  offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala and leave for Delhi at 3:00 P.M., from Renigunta airport.
