Vijayasai Reddy Criticises Pawan Kalyan

Nitin Gadkari, the Transport Minister of India, on the 5th of September, spoke about the new Motor Vehicle Act, 2019 and shared the Government’s vision behind the Act. The Government of India, on the 1st of September, imposed the new Motor Vehicle Act, 2019, which includes heavy fines up to Rs. 40,000 for violating traffic rules across India. However, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal did not implement the new Motor Vehicle Act, 2019 and are still discussing the matter. Nitin Gadkari addressed the public at the annual Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) Convention in Delhi and said,

Vijayasai Reddy, a Member of Parliament (MP) of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) on the 5th of September, criticised Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party.

Vijayasai Reddy took to Twitter and criticised Kalyan for his cheap campaigns against the YSRCP Government and for commenting about the welfare schemes and policies of the State Government.

Vijayasai Reddy said, “With the bold decisions of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, public money is not wasted and these policies will give the Country a new direction in transparency.”

Apart from the JanaSena Party, Vijayasai Reddy also took a dig at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.) 

Vijayasai Reddy said Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of AP, took a historic decision by merging the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) with the Government of AP.

On the 4th of September, the YSRCP conducted a Cabinet meeting and approved the merger of the APSRTC and the Andhra Pradesh Public Transport Department (APPTD.)  The merger will provide a better future for the APSRTC and its employees as they will work under the Government.
