Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, announced an ex gratia of Rs. 25 lakhs to those who lost lives in the Lauras Labs Fire Incident in Anakapalli incident.
On the 26th of December, Monday, a massive fire broke out in Lauras Labs at Parawada Pharma City Lauras Labs. In the fire accident, five workers lost lives in the accident. Those who lost lives are identified as Rambabu, Rajesh Babu, Ramakrishna, Venkatarao and Satish. The bodies of all the workers were shifted to the KGH Mortuary.
Expressing grief over the incident, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, announced the compensation, which would be given to the families of the deceased victim.
Meanwhile, Mr. Gudivada Amarnath, the Industries Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has been directed to ensure proper medical treatment of those who got injured in the incident. In addition, the Yuvjana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) led Andhra Pradesh Government ordered a probe in the fire incident.
